......Desde Phoenix, Arizona: "Calabrese"........

Calabrese:

Formed in 2003 the brothers CALABRESE have come a long way in four short years. "We are a very lucky band, our fans our amazing and I think selling our Souls is paying off because people just want to help the band progress." -Jimmy Calabrese. Fueled by the cult success of "13 HALLOWEENS", CALABRESE has recorded a follow up CD "THE TRAVELING VAMPIRE SHOW". The January 2007 release promises to deliver the horror with new 12 songs of ghoulish delight. "THE TRAVELING VAMPIRE SHOW" shows the development that CALABRESE has achieved. Only one listen will demonstrate the tighter performances, the more devolved songwriting and the more powerful mind controlling frequencies. Even though CALABRESE has been compared to the MISFITS, RAMONES and early AFI, "THE TRAVELING VAMPIRE SHOW" is distinctly CALABRESE. "Brothers Bobby, Jimmy and Davey have not only been gifted with a last name that doubles as a great band name...which, much like 13 HALLOWEENS, is destined for cult status." - Gothic Beauty Magazine.

..........The Serpenteens...........

Serpenteens History :

NYC’s SERPENTEENS were formed by Gee Grant (Alphamayle) and Mark “Bub” Zap by combining a passion for horror, fantasy and zombie movies, with the love of theatrical bands (KISS, Misfits, Alice Cooper etc). The look of the classic film "zombie" combined with a catchy "monsterpop" sound, became both an inspiration and a signature trademark. The band’s lyrics draw influences from monster and horror movies (both classic and contemporary), Science Fiction and even Spaghetti Westerns! In 2002 seasoned recording/touring veterans Frank Morin (Frank N. Stein) and Glenn Sorino (The Creature) rounded out the band’s present lineup.
The band has played over 800 shows in cities all across the US and in 2006 signed to Washington State label Blood And Guts Records through which they released their first full CD “Dead Men Walking” to critical acclaim. “(Please Be My) Zombie Bride”, “Calling All Monster Kids”, and “Hell California”, are songs that struck a chord with listeners and created a legion of new fans through internet radio exposure, press and word of mouth. Often compared to bands such as The Misfits, KISS, The Ramones, Ozzy Osbourne and even The Damned, the band’s theatrical, polished live performance has also been hailed by most who have seen them.
Serpenteens have become synonymous with the underground wave of Horror Rock And Roll while also being acknowledged as forefathers of this new and burgeoning scene containing hundreds of bands from all over the world. The band wrote the theme song for Fangoria Radio (hosted by Dee Snider of Twisted Sister and Scream Queen Debbie Rachon) and has made numerous appearances on the show for live performances. Several of the members also play in the live band and record with Goth’s reigning king Voltaire.
In July of 2007 the band released it’s follow-up CD “The Superhuman Monstershow” which was also immediately accepted by critics and fans alike as the next step in Serpenteens “eviloution”. The band is currently fully endorsed by Hartke Amplification, Coffin Case and Samson Electronics.

........Se Sienten Presencias.....Malignas......

The secret history of The Other:

It was Halloween of 2002 when the famous Misfits Coverband GHOULS (www.ghouls.de) decided to do the unspeakable. At their sold-out show in the ancient city of Cologne, they played a song that was not written by the Misfits. And the audience loved it, even though it meant certain death for them. Didn’t they know that hearing the sounds of Roderick Usher, Sargeant von Rock, Andy Only and Dr. Caligari seals the listeners fate and lets him die at an unpredictable time in the future? The monster, which was to become known as THE OTHER reared its ugly head for the first time at that crucial and dark period for humanity. But the members of the band were still uncertain. Would they be strong enough to conquer the planet on their own, with their own weapons? The fiends – fans of Horrorpunk music - all over Germany said that they did! And so the downward spiral towards the total extinction of humanity took its course…THE OTHER, a more than fitting name for this alien and strange quartet, plays Horrorpunk, a genre that was more or less invented by the MISFITS. The fast Punk-Rock comes equipped with melodic vocals and hymn-like choruses. But one should never forget the lyrical side. Total Horror, B-Movies, Science-Fiction, Blood and Gore… Horropunk takes its inspiration from the dark side of art. THE OTHER have their special take on the lyrical-style of Horrorpunk, they sing mostly about Gothic Literature and try to interpret the works of Robert Louis Stevenson, Stephen King, H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe and others in their own gruesome way. Once in a while the undead members of the band do watch a movie and write a few words about it. It has to be a scary one, though. The members of THE OTHER are rejects of society and each of them has his own dark history…Roderick Usher: The lunatic voice of The Other. In contrast to popular belief and the story of a drug-addicted author, Roderick Usher did not die completely with the fall of the House of Usher. Since 1839 he exists in state between life and death with his sister Madeline in the swamps near the ruins of the former mansion.Sargeant von Rock: A mean son of a bitch with a heart of stone. Will kill anybody who does not follow orders, hence the name. He dresses in black, shows no emotions and his face is featureless. Except when he plays guitar. On stage he rips through the cords like man possessed. Maybe he is…Andy Only: A descendent of the long family-line of Onlys from Lodi, New Jersey. Andy Only was cast out as an infant due to his abominable appearance. Accidents with fire and acid didn’t help the look of his face. But he does play a mean bass and now takes revenge on all mortals that humiliated him as a child.Dr. Caligari: The dear Doctor heads an asylum for the insane. And sometimes he goes out with them and let’s them do what they please. This can result in violence and murder which the Doctor loves to witness. And sometimes he himself beats on helpless victims and the drums.
