The internet has made it alot easier for bands that are just starting up get heard.
It's a great way to promote Bands and Artists that would normally go unnoticed.

Kinda happened by accident

While readily acknowledging our debt to such bands as the Misfits, Samhain, and the Accused, we in Crimson Spectre also align ourselves with a dissident aesthetic most visible, in this country, in the horror films of the past thirty years, where - to quote Lenin - the "Aesopian language" of zombies, cannibalism, chainsaw massacres, monster babies, demonic possession, and hockey-masked serial killers has provided allegorical embodiment for social critiques and political analyses otherwise considered too volatile for the pop-culture arena.
Info:
“Horror is everywhere around us: horrors of war, horrors of occupation, horrors of poverty, horrors of social injustice. A ghoul-punk aesthetic is one strategy among many a band might employ to draw attention to this collective political nightmare and to articulate it in a highly-stylized and accessible form. It might also be the most fun. While readily acknowledging debt to such bands as the Misfits, Samhain, and the Accused, Crimson Spectre also align themselves with a dissident aesthetic most visible, in this country, in the horror films of the past thirty years, where - to quote Lenin - the "Aesopian language" of zombies, cannibalism, chainsaw massacres, monster babies, demonic possession, and hockey-masked serial killers has provided allegorical embodiment for social critiques and political analyses otherwise considered too volatile for the pop-culture arena. Because the ruling class chooses to dress up stark imperialism in a rhetoric of righteousness, self-defense, and pseudo-Christianity, labeling anyone who opposes its amoral profiteering an "evil-doer" or worse, Crimson Spectre eagerly adopts the iconography of Evil and is proud to point out that its members form, at all times, the five points of a human pentagram.” Yes, please bring on the evil.
Venom Lords formed in Chicago in 2004. They like zombie movies, cocktails, rock , country, swing, metal...you name it. Dan and Gina share guitar duties and vocals. Joining them is Gina’s former bandmate from the Pillowmints, Amy on bass and Tennesee trasplant, Scott on drums. With a few chords, they plow through songs paying tribute to Zombie Movies’ father, George Romero, and various other B-Movies. If you take a listen, you just may be able to save yourself in the event you are trapped in a house or world full of flesh eating zombies.
Venom Lords new video for the song, Dead Hate You, was recently mentioned on AMC’s Monsterfest and is in rotation on the local JBTV. Written and directed by L.A’s Seth Sherwood. You can view it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thbjSrb8CGM
Venom Lords will be playing through the summer and recording their third album.
The sweet and syrupy powerful vocals of Lexi Lawsuit (often compared to Siouxsie Sioux), combined with catchy yet haunting guitar melodies, spooky keyboards, and the steady throbbing rhythmic percussion...it's horror pop cabaret that packs a punch.
Hailing from the underbelly of Buffalo NY, The Rabies emerged in 2003 and acquired a faithful following, all claiming to have been "infected" by the new buzz. With their concoction of punk, new wave, goth, and in-you-face rock-n-roll, The Rabies aren't here for a campfire sing along...they are here to wake the dead!
They might just do that...their first demo album entitled "Get Infected!!!" was recorded in the attic of a haunted house. It received air play across radio stations in Great Britain, Spain, France, Australia, and the US. It debuted at number 21 on the 'Most Played Albums' list at Three D Radio 93.7 FM in Australia, ranked at number 6 on MP3.com, and number 1 Gothic genre (NY) on Myspace.com.
Their much anticipated second album entitled "Night Terror" was released in August of 2008. Offering a higher production value than its predecessor, songs like "Vampyre's Kiss", "Eleanor", "Domination of the Dead", and "Ghost in the Graveyard" keep fans on the edge of their seats, addicted to the rewind button.
Since they materialized on the scene, The Rabies have toured the US extensively and have shared the stage with such bands as The Buzzcocks, The Dickies, The Adicts, Wilco, The Murder Junkies, The Saints, The Koffin Kats, Trashlight Vision, The Voodoo Glow Skulls, DOA, Green Jello, The Gore Gore Girls, Slaughter and the Dogs, Penis Flytrap, Billy Talent and more. They also joined 45 GRAVE for two tours in both the Spring and the Fall of 2006.
They have worked with Goo Goo Doll Robby Takac's "Music Is Art" organization, worked with Hot Topic, and played on Van's Warped Tour. They also performed live to air on the Fangoria Radio show (hosted by Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider and horror movie actress Debbie Rochon) on Sirius Satellite Radio, and currently have endorsements with Coffin Case, Trash Queen Clothing, and Hot Picks.
No matter how much you dare to resist, they will infect you...The Rabies are contagious.
The HORRiFiCS sprang from the depths of the Dallas/Ft.Worth music scene. Shadows given substance, the FEARsome four are HELLbent ..ging the unsuspecting kicking and screaming into their world of mist shrouded nightmares. Those brave enough to willingly enter this splatter house of chills find themselves haunted by sonic tales of HORROR, the MACABRE, and Halloween. A unique blend of fast paced punk rock catchiness and heavy metal skull crunching power, all seasoned with catchy sing-a-long choruses. Resulting in a witch's brew of frightening fun.
At the center of this phantom four piece stands lead vocalist and HORRiFiCS founder, GRUESOME. Known for his work with his prior splatter rock outfit EERiE Ln., this figure in black howls hymns of b-movie mischief and tongue-in-cheek TERROR. Directly on his right the flesh hungry T-ViRUS wields his bass with the intensity of a wolf devouring a fallen lamb. On Gruesome's left the horror known only as Wretched, who's guitar riffs grind like a chainsaw through the porcelain perfection of human bone. From behind his drum kit SHRiEKS' drum lines anchor this swirling chaos with a psychotic precision all his own. Testimony to this band's murderous convictions.
The HORRiFiCS hail from an unknown providence with a skyline perpetually peppered by the black shapes of crows and bats in flight. A DARK corner of the human psyche lit only by the flickering glow of jack-o-lantern grins. A place were Autumn reigns and twilight is eternal. You have been warned.

Greg Gallows - Guitar
Info:
The Reanimated was spawned in Northern KY in the winter of 2007. Bassist Erik Stitches and guitarist Adam Alone were working together on a small handful of songs just for kicks. Drummer Jason Hell was then added to lay drum tracks down on the material. It was almost immediate that the three realized the project (originally titled "Fury 58") was shaping up to be something much more than just a little side gig. With the few songs in hand, vocalist James Bondage was asked to come in and write lyrics for the tracks. Jimi's trademark writing style and insane vocal ability sealed the project's fate. The band was christened "The Reanimated" and it was taken on as a full time band.
With the originals in hand, the band set out to take the world by the throat. Playing shows and promoting the band at breakneck speeds, The Reanimated started getting noticed for their catchy songs and furious live sets. Things were going in the right direction but something was still missing. As good as the material was the band realized that it could be better. The decision was then made to bring in a second guitarist to fill out the sound. Erik Stitches made one call to longtime scene veteran and friend Sean Sleaze. Sean toured and recorded with the band for about a year before departing to pursue other projects. New guitarist Greg Gallows was added to the fold in august of 2008. Greg continues to bring the metal!
With a collective interest in bad movies, bad beer and lightsaber fights, The Reanimated continue to push forward with attitude and a relentless work ethic. So next time The Reanimated come to your town, hold on to your seat! It's a show you will never forget as we continue to bring the very best in horror possible!
