In the Summer of 2007, a new sound was forged in the gloom filled slums of Everett, Washington. Church For Sinners was formed by brothers, Andy Wylie and Ben Grimm (formerly of Graveyard Shift), as a means to create their take on a genre that had been lying in the underground since it's inception in the early 80's by punk legends, The Misfits. After collecting some of the best musicians in the NW, including Jay Johnson (formerly of Graveyard Shift and Analog Dreamer), Calem Bergemeier (Collapse Of Eden), and Tyler Murphy (River City Rebels and Noreason), the boys began writing what would become their first ep, Making Monsters. Before ever setting foot on stage, CFS had already recieved offers from several labels, one of which was Robot Monster, Inc. After discussing the merits of each label with fellow musicians in the horror scene, the boys decided to go with robot Monster and have been happily working with them ever since.

"MAKING MONSTERS features a heavily trimmed and stripped pop-punk guitar edge combined with Psychobilly bass backings and melodic old school Goth vocals. Only 3 months after their formation, CFS entered Studio 69 to start tracking "Making Monsters", a 7 track ep that would gain the boys international attention and praise. Featuring so

ngs such as "Autopsy Turvy", "Dead To Rites" and live staple "Home Sweet Hell", the ep was a glimpse at a band in it's formative stage. Quickly, the band booked a cd release show in Hollywood

at the legendary Knitting Factory, alongside horror rock icons such as Order Of The Fly, Zombeast and Calabrese. This show was only the 2nd time the band had ever been on stage, and their energy and ambitious performance won over even the most hesitant onlookers. They tore through the set at breakneck speed, mixing raw energy, humor and even tossing candy and condoms out to the crowd, creating an unforgettable show that would leave their name on the lips of the hollywood horror scene well after their departure.

The band didn't slow down in the slightest in the months following their cd release. T

heir willingness to play anywhere, anytime made them a staple in the Washington music sce

ne. After playing numerous shows with legendary acts such as The Meteros, Kat Killers, Nim Vind, Michale Graves, Gorgeous Frankenstein, Bella Morte, and a spirited performance with the Deep Eynde at Seattle's first annual horror convention, Crypticon '08, the boys took their show on the road. After a short run of shows in Washington and Oregon, centered around a radio performance in Portland, OR, the boys hooked up with labelmates, Gruesome Boys, for the self booked 9 date Ghosts Of Autumn Tour. Hitting cities in Washington, Oregon, California and Nevada, the tour was a daunting, but successful jaunt for a young band still trying to earn their place. During this time, there were several lineup changes. Tyler Murphy left the group to pursue a career in construction and was replaced by Ryan Hausner, a longtime friend and ex-guitarist for the Seattle power pop group, the Greatest Hits. Ryan stuck with the boys through their first two runs, but shortly after the fall tour, he decided to leave the band. In spite of these changes, the boys persisted and continued playin

g nearly every weekend.

A few months after Ryan's departure, CFS hit the road once again on another self booked west coast tour which they called the Summer Broken Tour. Due to circumstances beyond their control, Gruesome Boys were unable to join them on this tour, leaving the boys alon on the road. They blasted through Everett, Portland, Medford, Hollywood, Tacoma and Seattle, leaving adoring fans begging for more at ever stop. The tour, although a monetary loss, proved the dedicati

on and tenacity of this group of rock n roll soldiers.

Shortly after returning home, the boys jumped into Bad Habit Studios to begin w

orking on their debut full length, "Of Prayers And Pestilence". Produced by friend and Gruesome Boys guitarist, Brent Wilkinson, this 16 track epic is a look at a band coming into it's own and breaking free of all expectations. The boys went into the studio with a clear goal in mind: to create an album that would show their depth and ability while simultaneously ensuring that the band would never be pigeon holed, like so many in the horror rock scene. The album spans many genres including country (When Tomorrow Ends), southern rock (Southern Belle), metal (Seaside Suicide) and of course, th

e gothic punk sound that got them started. The record is huge step forward, both musically and lyrically for the band, covering topics such as religion, hero worship, love, death and longing, leaving the listener not only entertained, but informed. Clocking in at just under an hour, "Of Prayers & Pestilence" will be hitting stores later this year on Robot Monster, Inc.

Call them what you want. Punk? Rock? Psychobilly? Or just plain wrong. The Koffin Kats don’t even know what to consider themselves but firmly believe in the spirit of Rock n’ Roll and all of its excess and beautiful evil. Having influences ranging from bands such as Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, The Quakes, Tom Waits, and Bad religion. The sound is everything but normal. Detroit, Michigan. June of 2003 marked the arrival of this band. Vic Victor having been in numerous bands but not going anywhere beyond a local bar or the basement was fed up with not being able to be apart of a touring band. Never really being a singer or a front man before he got together with long time friend Tommy T Bags, who would later become Tommy Koffin, and started laying down the material that would become the upright bass throwing, beer slamming, blood gushing, and sonic assault known as The Koffin Kats. They had the songs that resided around thumping upright bass and wild distorted guitar with lyrics of drug use, self loathing, and all things evil. They needed a drummer. In came E Ball Walls, who was a former schoolmate and band member of previous punk projects with Vic. The shows in Detroit went well and fueled the band to keep writing and get into a studio as soon as possible. Unfortunately it was just too soon for E Ball to be in the band and scheduling a priority issues came up between the members and the y were forced to ask him to leave and recruited another friend, DamianDetroit, to bash on the skins. DamianDetroit came in around early October of 2003. By the end of November they had recorded the first album. 8 songs and self titled it’s a departure from what the band would become musically and stylistically but still holds the sound of the Koffin Kats. If you’re wondering what change is? They have only gotten faster, stronger, and smarter with the songs these days. Damian laid it out one practice. To be in California by July of 2004 was the goal. It happened. This caught the attention of Hairball 8 Records out of San Antonio, Texas. A deal was struck up to distribute the S/T release and after a summer long tour KK was back in the studio to record Inhumane. Released on Hairball 8, Inhumane was faster and had more anger behind it. Not to mention it was twice as long as S/T. They set out on tour cross country in February of 2005. Then in July. None of the tours were financially that great for the band. Being lucky to break even was a success. This was hard for DamianDetroit who had a house and other real life things to pay for. So Vic and Tommy had to move on and brought in Katch who was a drummer for Tommy’s’ former punk band called P.R.E.S.S. The goal was to not slow down. The tours were fun. The people they met on the road were awesome. The guys were hooked and in November of 2005 they recorded the quick and pissed off Straying From The Pack release. The record was dark and began to show a departure from the psychobilly sound to a punk edge. More so then Inhumane. They toured through 2006 on it and once again found themselves in need of a new drummer. As explained by Vic and Tommy. Some people are made for the road. Those who can live in a van, eat bad food, not worry about money or the future, can detach themselves from girlfriends and family, and whatever other issues that wait back home will survive longer. Road dogs. The band found this in E Balls’ return to drums. 2007 has been busy with non-stop touring of the states and a Canadian tour. During this time the band has written enough material for the a new record. Drunk In The Daylight is the 17 track 4th coming album.

En su sexta temporada el Festival de Cine Terror de Valdivia debutó en la web con su propio portal. Informaciones, comentarios, trailers y descargas, concursos e incluso una sección hacia su propia comunidad en facebook forman parte de la presencia virtual de este año.

El Cine Terror abrirá sus puertas al público entre el 20 y el 25 de abril en el Teatro Lord Cochrane, con funciones a las 18 y 21 horas. En total se exhibirán 12 películas.

A una semana de debutar en facebook, ya contaba con 2 mil 727 participantes en las tres comunidades creadas, con 1 mil 212 fanáticos, 633 amigos de la actividad y unas 880 confirmaciones de asistencia al evento.

Una de las novedades que acompañan el lanzamiento de la web, es la programación oficial de la temporada, que incluye cintas como “Rec”, “Martyrs”, “The deaths of Ian Stone” y “Let the Right One In”, entre otras.

Joining them is Gina’s former bandmate from the Pillowmints, Amy on bass and Tennesee trasplant, Scott on drums. With a few chords, they plow through songs paying tribute to Zombie Movies’ father, George Romero, and various other B-Movies. Be afraid of The Rabies, be very afraid...

The sweet and syrupy powerful vocals of Lexi Lawsuit (often compared to Siouxsie Sioux), combined with catchy yet haunting guitar melodies, spooky keyboards, and the steady throbbing rhythmic percussion...it's horror pop cabaret that packs a punch.

Hailing from the underbelly of Buffalo NY, The Rabies emerged in 2003 and acquired a faithful following, all claiming to have been "infected" by the new buzz. With their concoction of punk, new wave, goth, and in-you-face rock-n-roll, The Rabies aren't here for a campfire sing along...they are here to wake the dead!

They might just do that...their first demo album entitled "Get Infected!!!" was recorded in the attic of a haunted house. It received air play across radio stations in Great Britain, Spain, France, Australia, and the US. It debuted at number 21 on the 'Most Played Albums' list at Three D Radio 93.7 FM in Australia, ranked at number 6 on MP3.com, and number 1 Gothic genre (NY) on Myspace.com.

Their much anticipated second album entitled "Night Terror" was released in August of 2008. Offering a higher production value than its predecessor, songs like "Vampyre's Kiss", "Eleanor", "Domination of the Dead", and "Ghost in the Graveyard" keep fans on the edge of their seats, addicted to the rewind button.

Since they materialized on the scene, The Rabies have toured the US extensively and have shared the stage with such bands as The Buzzcocks, The Dickies, The Adicts, Wilco, The Murder Junkies, The Saints, The Koffin Kats, Trashlight Vision, The Voodoo Glow Skulls, DOA, Green Jello, The Gore Gore Girls, Slaughter and the Dogs, Penis Flytrap, Billy Talent and more. They also joined 45 GRAVE for two tours in both the Spring and the Fall of 2006.

The Reanimated was spawned in Northern KY in the winter of 2007. Bassist Erik Stitches and guitarist Adam Alone were working together on a small handful of songs just for kicks. Drummer Jason Hell was then added to lay drum tracks down on the material. It was almost immediate that the three realized the project (originally titled "Fury 58") was shaping up to be something much more than just a little side gig. With the few songs in hand, vocalist James Bondage was asked to come in and write lyrics for the tracks. Jimi's trademark writing style and insane vocal ability sealed the project's fate. The band was christened "The Reanimated" and it was taken on as a full time band.

With the originals in hand, the band set out to take the world by the throat. Playing shows and promoting the band at breakneck speeds, The Reanimated started getting noticed for their catchy songs and furious live sets. Things were going in the right direction but something was still missing. As good as the material was the band realized that it could be better. The decision was then made to bring in a second guitarist to fill out the sound. Erik Stitches made one call to longtime scene veteran and friend Sean Sleaze. Sean toured and recorded with the band for about a year before departing to pursue other projects. New guitarist Greg Gallows was added to the fold in august of 2008. Greg continues to bring the metal!

Under A Nightmare began in the fall of 2002 in Pittsburgh, PA with guitarist/singer Coffin Keenan, Bassist Jordy Coroner, and The Cubscout on Drums. Marky Madness joined UAN in late 2003 as a guitarist/singer. After rehersing for months a demo titled as "I Thought She Was Dead" was recorded for fun in Jamestown, NY. The recording was sloppy and mostly made up in the studio on the spot but led to the band later being more serious and persuing a full length debut release "Valley Of The Scarecrow", recorded in Pittsburgh, PA and to be released on NJ's Crypt of Blood Records. The album never got a real release and since then every album has been put out by the band themselves DIY. By 2004 gigs started coming frequent in Pennylvania and shows started branching out to neighboring east coast states. Friendships with bands such as Late Night Zero, Blitzkid, Children of October and many more started forging and have lasted. The band returned to Jamestown, NY in April 2005 to record around ten songs for what would be "Return Of The Rot" a short album or long EP of sorts. Most of the rest of 2005 was spent touring the east coast. Throughout 2006 Under A Nightmare played many large shows with bands like The Misfits, Serpenteens, Independents, Boney Fiend, Rosedales, Dr. Chud's X-Ward. The band were also featured on Solomon Mortomur's "It Came From Trafalgar" horror movie soundtrack with the song Midnight Stroll. By September 2006 a new ablum titled "Monsters 89" was recorded in Ambridge, PA featuring 23 songs and most of the bands most popular songs to date. The Rest of 2006 and most of 2007 held very heavy touring of the east coast spot to spot as possible. Currently in 2008, Under A Nightmare are planning a tour of the entire U.S., Dave Wild has joined as drummer, as well as releasing a new album "Cemetery Getaway". Future plans are to get out to as many places in as many states and countries as possible!

The EverDead, simply put, is a Rock 'n Roll band inspired by the macabre (the horrific, the dark, and the evil) elements of both fiction and reality.

Formed in the spring of 2000, The EverDead emerged upon the streets of Grand Rapids, Michigan with the desire to make good music in a local scene dominated by cookie cutter "Nu-Metal", "Pop Punk", and "Christian Hardcore" bands. Adhering to the musical ethic, "if it can be considered Rock 'n Roll, we'll play it", The EverDead forged a sound that drew influence from the far reaches of the Rock 'n Roll genre (Metal, Punk, Goth, Rockabilly, Industrial, etc.).

However, due to constant lineup changes (Only Dravean and The Baron have remained since the beginning), their refusal to conform to the local scene, and the fact that they were considered too vulgar and/or evil to play at many local venues, The EverDead were forced to play sporadically. Despite these setbacks, they still managed to forge a name for themselves by putting on energetic and often outlandish performances while simultaneously gaining fans worldwide through the magic of the Internet.

On Halloween 2002, The EverDead released their debut CD, the "Slumber Party Massacre E.P.", which consisted of some of the bands more poppy sounding horror punk songs. The CD was very well received and sold out quickly, so the band followed it up with a "special edition" version of the EP that contained a better mix as well as a handful of bonus tracks and cover songs. This re-release of the CD, ingeniously titled "Slumber Party Massacre II", was released on August 9th 2003 at the @ntiFEST Horror Rock Festival.
Now, after nearly two years of silence, The EverDead are working on their final album: the long overdue "Zombies, Werewolves, & Demons", which will feature roughly twenty newly recorded tracks.

Creepshow 1977 began in the fall of 2003 when The Creeper entered the studio to write and record an 11 song demo, after the demise of his former band, Booty Tank. After the demo was recorded, he began to search for a line-up. Jacob Caskets was the first to join, along with bassist Dan "Bruiser" Reilly. The drummer's slot was filled a mere three weeks before their first show by Mr. Machine. They gigged consistantly over the next year, gaining a small cult following around their respective hometowns. Halloween of 2004 marked the exit of Bruiser on bass, and the addition of Charles Lee Ray on rythym guitar. The band finished out the year with The Creeper taking on bass duties, as well as the frontman slot. February of 2005 marked the addition of Lurch "The Taker" Addams on bass. By this time, the band had played some impressive shows, opening for such noted acts as the Misfits, The Addicts, Wednesday 13 and former Misfits frontman Michale Graves. Since then, the band has become a regular local opener for Wednesday 13, as well as Michale Graves. The band entered Strangelove Studios in Cleveland, OH to record their eagerly awaited debut album NIGHT OF THE CREEP. The album will be released Oct. 21st 2006 at the 4th annual Bloodbash, where they will once again share the stage with Michale Graves. Now, with the departure of Charles Lee Ray, the four-piece Horrorpunk band promises to take NO prisoners, and deliver the most terrifying, outlandish stage show that northern OH, not to mention the WORLD has ever seen. Mockingbird Lane first appeared on the music scene in early 2002. Founder/frontman Christophe enlisted the help of his friends from therogy shortly after the band's demise to play some gigs. The band centers around Christophe, but over the years has featured many musicians from the Oklahoma area.

The band first went into the studio in early 2003 to record the "taken under" cd single. They recorded the song for inclusion in the Stephen King Dollar baby "I Know What You Need". The cd also included bonus tracks including Christophe's electronic side-project, xtoph.

Next the band hit the studio again in mid-2003 to record for a Misfits tribute album, "too much horror business-1977-1983-a tribute to the misfits". While there they went ahead and recorded some other demo's and released the "2003 demo". This included two of the version's of "Taken Under" from the earlier single release, thier cover of The Misfits "She", and two new songs, "I... Vampire" and "Wolfshead".

In late 2004 BJ, an old friend and writing partner of Christophe's, got out of prison and jammed with the band. A rare live version of the Mockingbird Lane standard "Dead Girl's Don't Say No" was recorded the day after he was released with BJ on lead vocals and guitar, Christophe on bass and Blizzard on drums. This was released in 2005 on the compilation."The harder, the better: volume 8".

Other compilations released in 2005 with Mockingbird Lane songs were"random infliction volume 2", a goth/industrial compilation cd/zine that featured the song "Taken Under", "the horror of it all", a compilation of horror-rock bands from The World Horror Network that featured an early demo of "Dead Girls Don't Say No", and Blood And Guts Records horrorpunk compilation vol.2: the resurrection another horror-rock compilation that features the songs "I... Vampire" & "Wolfshead".

In late 1995 three immortal beings, outcast from their divine purposes, formed an unholy artistic union on the material plane. Their manifestation first appeared in the frozen Western Canadian wastelends around the vicinity of a secluded city known as Saskatoon.

This alliance of poets, musicians and warlords would eventually expand it’s membership over the years and come to be known as THE NEW JACOBIN CLUB.

For the first three years, the group plotted and planned. With a still developing theme and sound reminiscent of early 80’s death rock greats (45 Grave, The Damned, Misfits,..), the NJC made sporadic live appearances around Saskatoon and recorded a multitude of demos that now enjoy a certain local notoriety. After several aborted attempts at maintaining a permanent band line-up, the NJC emerged strong and stable in 1998.

Axemeister, lead vocalist and founding fiend XerXes Praetorius Horde with bassist Lord Une and drummer Elvis Hellfire took to stage & studio around Saskatoon and neighbouring Canadian provinces. The release of the NJC’s studio debut (“A Lesson in Mortality”) on American splatter-core label Transparent Records was a small but significant victory. The band everybody loved to hate was now on limited edition red vinyl distributed all over...from the U.S. to continental Europe.

Their popularity with a newfound audience swelled and the NJC began to get mentions in independent music press and appearances on compilations. Most notable was their contribution to the Accused tribute album, a two record set that reportedly was the reason the legendary horror-thrash outfit re-united after nearly 12 years. Fresh off of successful concerts on the road, the trio enlisted extra help in late 2000 and expanded to a group of seven to record their first full-length cd. The resulting 13 track self-titled epic featured trash-rock sing-a-longs, metal chugs, eerie instrumentals, and electro-goth ambience courtesy of keyboard/synth collaborator Continuum Flux. It was a decidedly more decadent approach than the modest and minimalistic reverb-drenched creep-rock of their 1998 recordings.

The release of the self-titled album on their own Manticore Music Group label/promo company in the summer of 2001 caused a necessary re-structuring of personnel. Lord Une broke union with the group before the album even went to press, and it was The Swarm who picked up the bass for the band’s first shows after the cd’s release. Lead guitarist Vlad the Inhaler, a contributor on the newly pressed cd, joined the band full time to fill the second guitar spot at live shows. Vlad quickly became The Horde’s right hand man, providing the band with a new songwriter as well as a second lead vocalist (who can be heard on three tracks of the NJC’s 2003 album “Retake the Throne”). The 2001 line up was completed with a filthy creature called Eclipse on drums. Shortly thereafter, Lady Annabel Arkham stepped in to become the NJC’s first full-time keyboard player. Her organ, piano and string synth arrangements and accompaniments have since become an immediately distinguishable part of the NJC sound.

With an arsenal of newly written songs and a massive new sound, the NJC took to the road once more and left a definite impression on audiences wherever they appeared. Fresh from the excitement of successful live dates, the group again returned to the studio in early 2003 to lay down new tracks. The resulting effort is a grand collaboration of styles and sounds that at long last faithfully represented the live ferocity and attack of the five piece ensemble. The new album was to be named “Retake the Throne” after a powerful anthem of the same name appearing on the disc, and was released in July. Working with American distributors Sinbad Productions to promote the disc to a larger international audience, Canada’s gothic punk warlords are pushing onwards to achieve total conquest. Pity the survivors.

The 4th full length album titled 'Rise Again' was released in 2004 on New School Records. The album was recorded and produced by Conrad Uno who has also put out albums by Mudhoney, The Supersuckers, Nashville Pussy, and the Presidents Of The USA. Compared to their past releases ('The Return' in 2000, 'The Kelvis' in 1998, 'Swank' in 1996) this album showcases a slightly darker sound combined with an improved sense of melody. This album manages to contain both the catchiest songs as well as the heaviest songs the band has ever written and somehow manages to blend them together. The first pressing of 'Rise Again' will also come bundled with a DVD featuring a live set recorded on Halloween of 2003.

It maybe stubbornness, it may be ignorance, or it may be a total love of what they do, but chances are 800 Octane will be still be here doing the same thing for a long time to come.

In 1998-2003 FRANKENSTEIN reappeared in the studio that summer, recording Black Train Rollin’ for the Blackout A.D. compilation, with Dave Grave, Jeff F. on drums, William Faith (FAITH AND THE MUSE) on bass and FRANKENSTEIN’s original guitarist Mark Pritchard. The cut was well received internationally and the search resumed for new members. By late 2000 the monster was back in rehearsal with William on lead, L. Ron Jeremy on rhythm guitar, Bart Sinister on bass and Stevyn Grey on drums.

In March 2001 the monster took the stage at Release The Bats (Long Beach) to a capacity crowd. Word spread overnight via the internet that FRANKENSTEIN was truly back from the dead and bigger than ever. Album production began as William started booking a 24-city U.S. tour for that summer. Unfortunately, 5 weeks before the tour was to start, William was forced to pull out. The album unfinished, and the band without a suitable replacement, the tour was cancelled.

That November, the Rev Peckawood returned to California…and FRANKENSTEIN. In March 2002, a year to the day since their last appearance, the band played again to a capacity crowd, the long absence only increasing their mystique. Work on the album, appropriately entitled An Ugly Display Of Self-Preservation has resumed, and is expected to be released before year’s end. The band has received offers to play Europe in summer 2003.
The FRANKENSTEIN ground swell is threatening to become a seismic wave.

The Demonics established themselves in 1996 with the release of their first single, "Super Bee," a punk 'n' surf song that also hailed to the likes of the Stooges and the Ramones. By 1997, after a number of gigs throughout their native California, Man's Ruin Records eventually put out the Demonics' second single, "R.I.P. S.T.P." Their first full-length, Formaldehyde Injection, was also released on Man's Ruin the following year; Demons on Wheels appeared in mid-2000.

"If Anette Funicello and Glen Danzig of the Misfits had a baby, it would be The Demonics". One part Misfits, one part Ramones, one part Beach Boys, and a whole bunch more parts like EVIL and FUN, The Demonics have 3 full length albums and a bunch of singles; recorded by original trio Russ Wright, Dez Mabunga and Courtney Callahan. It’s not easy for an Italian band to break out into the international music scene, but in Venice, since 1999, Deathrockers Rival Skulls have been hailed for being the One and Only Horror Rock band from Italy to do just that. After releasing two successful self-produced full length albums (the Death Masks and Something Macabre this way comes...), some demos, and a fistful of compilations, the quintet did a couple of European tours and supported some big names in the horror-scene such as the Misfits, Meteors, Nekromantix and the Spook. Many of the most popular music magazines and webzines reviewed the Rival Skulls’s production as the most legitimate offspring of the Misfits and Samhain’s work in the entire worldwide. The band has just unleashed its first label debut, Hell Ouverture, on Blood and Guts Records. The albums sound shows the evolution of how the band has changed over the years, without losing their macabre vein and underlining their passion on the esoteric themes. All the songs on the album are a bit of their own experiences viewed by the side of the occult and expressing the Daily-Horror in peoples lives. From soft and sweet pagan to violently horrific lyrics, the music easily swings from fast and aggressive hardcore-punk to a sort of Sabbathian metal-rock, with some Gothic and Dark hints to it. The band’s trademark vocals, addictive riffs and powerful choruses are still there but the sound is slicker, more polished and more mature than the previous albums and is a definitely one more step away from the Misfits’s supporting band they started out as.

Por casualidad me encontré con este disco excelente, lástima que no pude encontrar informacion de la banda, ya que vale la pena conocer. Este es su primer disco que lleva por nombre: "PRIMA NOCTE", significa Primera Noche en latin. Este disco consta de 13 temas, los cuales no presentan muy buen sonido, ya que fueron grabadas de manera casera en una computadora y un par de microfonos. Disfrutenlo no mas!!!

In July 2003 we decided to keep the music simple to go back to the basics of punk/rock n roll, but still use Marcus on the synthesizers in that kind of music. And Patrick not just stuck to the vocals this time being a guitarist and all so he helped out his older brother Mickey with the distortion part. And also new vocal cord by Seppo who started to sing backup behind the drums. With the new sound a whole different band was formed, so we decided to change our name, we had already changed everything else so why keep the old one? As for the lyrics Patrick is influenced by old horror/zombie movies about the living dead, psycho killers and death etc. Some of us also being huge fans of the Resident evil videogames, which we got our name T-virus from (the virus that turns people into zombies).

With their two contributions „V/A – This Is Horrorpunk Vol.1“ (Fiendforce Rec./2003) and „V/A – Where The Bad Boys Rock Vol.2“ (People Like You Rec./2003) THE SPOOK have once more secured their outstanding position as a GRAVEROCK-Band and show, where the future lies: melodic and atmospherical Graverock with Punk and Metal elements.
Power-gained with/through two new members Dean Roca (vocals) and Vic Chains (drums) THE SPOOK are stranger, stronger, more energetic and more in-your-face than ever before. The musical developement is proofed by their 2004 Split 7” release „Everyday Is Halloween“ (Fiendforce Rec.) with US-Horrorpunkers BLITZKID and by their recent release „Boneman“ 7” (Squoodge Records/2006).

In 2007 LET THERE BE DARK - CD/LP; The brand new killer album with 13 songs dead men would come back to life again! Produced by Mille Petrozza (KREATOR) and Ross Feratu. Mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap in UK. Featuring special guests e.g. Dave Pybus (CRADLE OF FILTH), Goolsby and TB (BLITZKID) and Yvy Pop (THE POPZILLAS).

Right after coming back from a haunted and bizarre HELL NIGHTS tour the band is more productive then ever. New songwriting has already started for upcoming releases. THE SPOOK will also be part of the second Johnny Cash compilation „PAID IN BLACK“ Vol.2, which will be released through Wolverine Records this summer. The band is going to bring up a spooky and even more melancholy version of „Solitary Man“. Stay tuned for more info about this project.

Aquí tenemos el debut de los Misfits barceloneses, o lo que es lo mismo, la banda homenaje al mítico grupo de New Jersey formada por componentes y ex componentes de bandas como Cinder, E-150, The Seventhate, Dead Bones o The Bite. En los repertorios de sus conciertos incluyen tan sólo temas de la primera época de Misfits, con Danzig al frente, y para este 7" han escogido 5 de estos, que reproducen con gran acierto y mucha energía: "20 eyes", "Angelfuck", "Ghouls night out", "Who killed Marilyn?" y "Halloween". Distribuyen Black Bird Records, responsable de la publicación de dos recopilatorios de versiones de Misfits a cargo de bandas estatales, y Carnús Records.

Nadie podría decir a ciencia cierta de donde salieron, ¿que maléfica y enfermiza mente los creo?, de hecho nadie sabe realmente lo que son, bien podríamos estar frente al resultado de cómo dice la canción "fue una noche de copas, fue una noche loca" entre el Sr. Spock y la Srita. Cometa, aunque a decir, verdad no me atrevería a afirmarlo, esto es aún mas extraño y complejo.
Zombies, vampiros, muñecos vudú, chicas cósmicas, fantasmas y mas son los fieles escuderos de estos caballeros punk, actualmente a unos cuantos meses de su treceavo aniversario, Garigoles, sigue vigente siendo una de las bandas mas importantes de su ciudad, hasta llegar al grado de ser banda de culto.
Garigoles no puede ser explicado únicamente como un fenómeno de música punk, para comprenderlos hay que ir mas allá y sumergirnos en una mezcla de corrientes culturales y la vida en las calles tapatías. Antes tendrías que haber intimado con el Estadio Jalisco, la Arena Coliseo, el Parque Alcalde y Morelos, el Mercado Corona y San Juan de Dios, así como las mas antiguas cantinas y la totalidad de los foros culturales de la ciudad, entre otras cosas. En sus filas y mas intimas (pero sanas) amistades encontramos pintores, fotógrafos, diseñadores, cinéfilos, directores de cine, caricaturistas y mas, que entrando en conjunto hacen de los Luis Migueles del rock un estuche de monerías de creatividad.

The band consists of Al G on bass, Robert Shawn on drums, Omar Cabral on keyboards, Leo Cabral on percussion, and Nick Gerow on lead guitar. Frontman Shaun Kama, whose powerful baritone rides atop the mix like a silky fog, is the group's visionary and principal songwriter. "We're dually inspired by the darkenergy of punk rock and the anthem quality of folk rock," says Kama, "The Bad Seeds, New Model Army, and Johnny Cash are all influences." Kama is also well known for his long-standing tenure as vocalist for the internationally renowned (and still very active) DAMNATION with Al G and Robert Shawn. "BLOODJUNKIES is more than a side project," adds Kama. "DAMNATION sprouted another head called BLOODJUNKIES and it's just as hungry."

These six statuesque rejects from a western horror film literally wandered up on stage from the Audience and gave the audience something they weren't expecting. In fact BLOODJUNKIES' rabid blend of Punk Rockabilly and Goth was probably the last thing any of us expected to follow up the Over Reactors. If I had to tell you that BLOODJUNKIES sounded like anyone I would say they sounded most like the Misfits around their first album, however, that would be a big limit on what is actually a pretty damned good mix.

"If you have never heard of the BLOODJUNKIES, they are DAMNATION` new side project featuring members from DAMNATION and also a keyboard player and a percussionist. Describe their music as folk punk because, it's a little country, a little punk, with lots of ooohs and ahhhs, and Shaun sings while playing an acoustic guitar.
